Information about Using Horses in Treatment
It is common to think that therapists need horse experienced when using horses to work with clients, however as long as there is an experienced horse handler present during the session then the therapist doesn’t need that much horse knowledge. Therapy is not horse back riding lessons and the therapist is primarily focusing on the client and helping them achieve their goals during the session.
